My sister lost her son approximately 30 yes ago, her husband died 2yrs ago. When she visited the cemetery after the burial of her husband. She found the granite surround and headstone was missing. She contacted the council and they advised they did not remove them and that the funeral a director's man had moved them so she has been chasing the funeral director for two years despite the funeral director agreeing to replace nothing has been done. At a recent meeting with the head of the firm he again agreed but is trying to get my sister to accept an inferior replacement. What recourse does my sister have? Any help welcome as she cannot move on.

Hi and welcome to LB, did you get a reason why the headstone and surround were removed?
