  • Access to neighbouring land

    Hi,

Has anyone claimed access to neighbouring land via the court for repairs and maintenance without having a solicitor? I have a right given to me in my house deeds.

I need to do repairs but unfortunately I have not been covered by legal Insurance and the neighbour isn't cooperating.

Is it straight forward in court? Or do I definitely need a solicitor.

    Re: Access to neighbouring land

Why is your neighbour not co-operating. Not only do your deeds give you access there is this http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1992/23 Access to Neighbouring land Act 1992
