  • CCJ & CCA Request

    Hello

1st time poster and hope someone can help, currently in a good position of sorting my debts and nearly there, thankfully . However I do have a CCJ issued by Link Financial for a MBNA credit card . I have been paying £48 each month for almost 3 years. I have offered Full and Final at 25% of the debt which they declined and have offered to settle at 80% of the balance. I cannot raise that so would have to leave but have offered 40% which is the highest I could possibly go. Just really want to sort and be debt free aside of my mortgage

It got my thinking after doing some research via this site. ,my question is I know I have a CCJ against me but is it worth now asking for CCA or is it too late as the CCJ has been awarded against me., if they can produce then fine, but if not could this CCJ be removed as my understanding is that it wouldn't have been enforceable with out the CCA ? They also have a charging order against my home for the debt. Just interested to see if there is any recourse after a CCJ has been issued.

I'm no way an expert in this field but was just thinking would the CCJ stand without the CCA.

    Thanks for any advice

    Simon
