  • Position Statement example for mediation.

    Hi all,

Can anyone point me towards an example of a "position statement" for the purpose of mediation?

    Many thanks,

    JL

The position statement is exactly that, a statement of the parties position.

It must be headed Without prejudice and for use at mediation or words to that effect, other than that there is not really a prescribed format for a statement.

You may be able to get a precedent for it if you speak to someone like CEDR, the Centre for Effective Dispute resolution

          Hi pt,

I have quickly checked the CEDR website which looks like a fantastic place to start. Thank you.

I understand that the position statement will be unique however I wanted to see another statement as a guide really.

          Thanks again!
