  • Access to past Court Precedents ? (for claimants to obtain.. ?)

A precedent being a past case which was heard in court, by a judge)

If a claimant wants to access a full set of a few precedents (Which they know the name and year of),

how can they get these precedents,
just by as a claimant without a solicitor

any online resources where you can get them?
(which is the full precedent, not just the summary)

Only the precedent is needed, no other task!.

Where can they be obtained by ?

Which websites (for claimants to see)?

    Does anyone have access here?
    (@any legal professional)

Do you have access to these precedents?
If given the year and name of the precedent, can you access them, or show the site where to get them from?

    Hi ardvo

    BAILII is the obvious resource.
    http://www.bailii.org/
    LexisWeb is another possibility.
    http://lexisweb.co.uk/
There are other paid-for subscription services (e.g. Justis/JustCite), which offer free 'trial' periods. (No pun intended ).

If given the year and name of the precedent, can you access them, or show the site where to get them from?

    You could ask......you never know........
