Hello,
I am looking for some advice on behalf of my wife.
She has received a letter from Northampton CC Business Centre, over a credit card dept she defaulted on in 2011 with halifax. A while ago she received a letter from halifax informing her that the debt had been sold on to a agency but she is not sure on which agency as she threw the letter away. What i would like to know is where does she stand now, is this debt not statute barred the date on the CCBC letter says the 25/07/2011.
What course of action should she take, cannot afford to pay the debt off which i understand is the easiest solution.
I am trying to find how to upload the letter for reference.
