    Re: Hoist portfolio holdings ltd

CPR letter goes to solicitors (no fee payable).
CCA request goes to the Claimant (Hoist)....£1 fee payable.

I would normally suggest that a copy of CCA request is sent to the solicitor (no fee with this one), with a covering letter to inform the solicitor, for information only, that a CCA request has been sent to their client on (date).

While it can sometimes by useful to read other threads to get a feel for legal proceedings, your and Pancho's claims are completely different.

Panch's was in the Small Claims court where neither party pays the other side's legal costs whether they win or lose.

Yours is likely to be allocated to the Fast Track (because it's £15k) where claims are managed in a totally different way. The process lasts 30 weeks from allocation to Trial unless there are legal 'interruptions' which prolong the proceedings. There will be a Case Management Hearing/Conference, Full Disclosure and inspection of documents, and Skeleton Arguments and so on. In the FT the loser pays the other side's legal costs.

More importantly Pancho's original account was with Lloyds while yours was with Barclaycard which had different work practices.

          No two claims are alike.

The only thing in common with the two claims is the name of the Claimant and the name of their solicitors.
