Hi I am new to this site, I hope all is well with you all. I would like to 1st introduce myself my name is Charade. I would like your help. My mother who is 40yrs old and has type 1 diabetes mellitis since 1989 also she has severe depression and self harms she suffers nerve damage and a lot more I've out lined the most also she suffers vertigo and falls quite a lot. Back in early 2015 my mum was sexualy assaulted which resulted in her becoming pregnant she was very traumatised and servely depressed. Due to her diabetes she was taken to hospital and had an abortion which has left her feeling very depressed she will not leave the house as she has become very confused and feels that everybody is against her. She has an assessment on the 18/12 I am really worried that she will get very worked up and not be able to attend can I ask for a home visit for her. I hope to hear back from someone advise will be so much appreciated. Thank you

Hi Charade & welcome to LB.

Home visits can be arranged, but you'll need to contact them asap to confirm this &, if necessary, rearrange the appointment date.
Your mother can have someone there to support her.
Obviously it would be wise to have medical evidence available to back up your mother's problems.
I'll give our @enaid a nudge for you.
