    Hi

A car dealer who had found a certain car that my husband wanted he shown my husband some pictures and stated that the car had everything that my husband asked for. The dealer said that he had to move quick because they are a popular car and it was a good price ,so my husband had finance on the with part ex change with his old car plus £1,000 cash .when the car arrived the next day the car was not what the car dealer had stated with no cd player or sat nav ,so of course my husband was disappointed with the car and stated to the car dealer that he did not want it ,but the car dealer said he could exchange for a different car if he could find one . My question is that my husband has entered a financial agreement for the car could he get out of the agreement with the financial company if he wanted and get his old car back and the £1,000 cash that he gave.

    Re: Car dealers

    Short answer is YES.

He needs to WRITE (signed for) to dealer rejecting the car under rights bestowed by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 as the vehicle was not as described.
    Detail the misdescription.
    Send copy to finance house.

request return of all monies paid, together with return of part exchanged vehicle.

There should be no costs to your husband
