Expired mortgage
Hi everyone
l have a mortgage problem in 2004 my bank made me take out a capital repayment mortgage to cover a large overdraft on a business account also l had a large business loan at the same time. L continued to pay both for 2 years when the business got inot difficulties my manager stated to pay the business loan and revert to interest only on my personal mortgage l became very ill in 2007 and consequently had to stop work and claim benefits.
I scraped the money together again at the advice of the bank and managed to pay off the business loan but my personal mortgage expired 2 years ago and the bank are refusing to remortgage me l am in my 60s now
They told me to go to financial omnibudsman. Which l have and am waiting to hear back am l wasting my time? I have started to make very large payments to the mortgage and am desparetly trying to raise funds unsuccesfully. l don't won't to move from my house.
Any advice please?
