  • Filling in form N244

Hi, I'm trying to fill in form N244 as last Friday my daughter lost her case regarding payment of service charges. The company is Solitaire also known as OM Management and First Port, the solicitors are J.B.Leitch. The question 9 and 9a, do I enter solicitor or claimants name and address? Many thanks.

The guidance notes seem to imply that you should put the solicitor's name and address as they don't specifically mention the other party https://formfinder.hmctsformfinder.j...-notes-eng.pdf

So I would put 'Solitaire C/O J.B.Leitch Solicitors' and put the solicitor's address.

Thank you so much for your quick reply, I shall do as advised. The same company and solicitors took my daughter to court on February 2nd 2015 for non payment of service charges, I filled in all forms and defence as I knew they were crooks. Before we got to a Judge they approached with a Tomlin Order, which I refused to sign and then they presented a Notice of Discontinue. Following on from this they had not repaid monies owed so in June I emailed the equity companies who owned company and they responded offering a further £1,500 if I would sign letter to drop all historical charges I was going after, I refused, they went ahead and put monies in development bank account. Since September 2014 they refused all requests to provide bank statements, invoices and audit reports. I only gave a 7 page defence for 18/11/16 compared to 156 page defence for 02/02/16 as I thought would automatically transfer to LVT. I was wrong as I was not prepared to speak before Judge and I was rubbish, hence I'm filling in an N244.
