      Well there are 3 options.

      1. Ignore unless/until court papers arrive.
      2. Pay.
      3. Write to them and explain the primacy of the contract where you pay for the space is king and that they should go forth and multiply.

Re: Hi! It's the Naked Ape

After almost a year of them sending me threatening letters demanding me to pay then offering me a reduction if I pay it straight away to again threatening to take me to court I decided to keep on ignoring them until they can take me to court (If they can?)
But now their stupid permit has expired and they are demanding that I send them scans of my V05 and insurance details and if I don't they are refusing to issue me with a new permit?
I have always paid direct debit to my landlord (Peabody) I don't mid giving them copies of my private documents but I do not trust these cowboy's one inch.
My car is registered to me and they know this and my car is always insured and is always in MY parking space in underground parking beneath my building I cannot drive anywhere in London without having my car recognized and if my car was not roadworthy I would be fined, so why do I need to give them my personal documents before they release my permit?

I believe that they sell off our details to marketing companies, I can't prove it but I suspect they do.

Can they refuse to issue me with my permit which I am paying for months in advance to my landlord (Peabody)?

        Thank you.

Re: Hi! It's the Naked Ape

Met Parking, are now refusing to send me my permit unless I send them the first three pages of my insurance and the first three pages of my V05 as well as sending them a document of theirs filled in (see attached)

I do not trust them, I am willing to send them just the front cover of my V05 and the first page of my insurance that gives only the basic details but I do not want to give them details so they can sell them off to marketing companies.

They have my car registration, they can find everything they need from this, type, size, engine, petrol type, colour, if its, taxed, insured, ect. I believe they are only doing this A) they sell off all the details, B)in the hope people forget and then they can fine them.

Am I being difficult? As I said I pay direct debit in advance to my landlord my car is parked off road in an underground carpark beneath my building with NO yellow lines, it is always parked in my bay, why do they insist on having these details? should I just give in to their threats and send them?

          Thank you.
