Thank you so much for everyone's advice on here, it is the reason I've been able to get through this!

My next question is....

As the date is unenforceable and they are unable to prove the debt, can I get the alleged debt and subsequent default removed from my credit report?

It is the only default on my credit report and, although the 6 years are up in November and it will drop off, it would be great to have it removed ASAP!

a default listed has to be a true account of the situation by the originator at the time i.e. a default occured to Credit file,. you have a good result now enjoy life.
