I signed up to a website. saw a persons number and texted as was displayed. it went well and she told me her account got hacked but did not ask to me pay for what she lost. I offered her money in case she needed, and asked her for the total. but then needed more and more. although I did NOT specify at first she must pay back, BUT it was expected she met up or SHOULD pay back. Her mum later promised to pay me back "every penny" on a certain day if I would give more money. never happened. I called my bank who reported it to her bank (told them she wanted the money bit by bit) and it seems they have suspended her account. I also reported it to action fraud, but since mid sep 2016 have not heard since from them and I am sure she has blocked me. It is making me very worried as she could argue all sorts against me plus with ignoring her mums texts she sent me. question: do bank close/suspend peoples bank accounts based on my phone call ? i am very stressed over this. I am now very stressed if she can not open a new account because of me or affects her credit rating or uses it against me?
