I have an interest mortgage only with Mortgage Trust. I spent 5 years caring for my elderley parents, both passed now. During this time i let things slip, and after my mother passed 5 July 2015, i went into clinical depression and couldnt cope. I adopted the Ostrich stance, head in sand. Long story short, i owed M/T £800.00 Approx. They put Red Brick L.P.A in charge , £1800.00 to start £60.00 per month. By monday 3rd Oct i will be debt free. Red Brick have said if i repay the debt, will be done, reinstate d/d, done. Explain why i got behind, doing and do personnel expenditure plan, doing. I received a letter saying that the house was going on the market to sell. Their is about £50.000 in equity. The repayments are £240.00, rent income is at least £600.00 per month. I am recovered mentally . I even offered 2 years mortgage repayments in advance, no go. Money laundering. I realise that i did get behind, but i am convinced this is a scam to make money at my expense. Anybody have similar problems with These companies , or others. I have since found out that Red Brick is part of the Paragon Group, as is M/T. Any ideas? PLEASE. MIKE.
