Has anybody had any success in dealing with an uncooperative Trustee (your the beneficiary) re. getting info on terms, income, tax etc? There is no need to be specific ,just what has worked eg. perhaps using HMRC. Legal action would be last resort.

Hi and welcome
Sometimes just a polite letter, non threatening, produces results.
If that doesn't work a more detailed letter pointing out trustees responsibilities vis a vis beneficiaries, and beneficiaries entitlements might make him/her/them more cooperative.
That fails and you are left with court orders.

Hi
Yes polite request sent both to trustee and trustee's solicitor. The solicitor's actions have been complained about, and that is ongoing. I do not expect cooperation and need a less direct route to trust details eg HMRCComment

I doubt that HMRC would release details to the beneficiary of a trust.
HMRC would deal only with the trustees, and would need the trustees authority to release details to a third party (the beneficiary)
IMO, if badgering trustees hasn't worked, your only way forward is a court orderComment
