  • New build house issues

So I have bought a house with Charles Church which is very close to be complete. Its not been the best of experiences due many reasons.

Although the latest is what I want advise for.

The house is fully built, moving in date was likely next month.

I have just been rung up and told they will now have to remove and lower one of the front upstairs windows due to fire regulations. It means moving it 150mm lower.

This is something I'm far from happy about. not only is this not following the plans I signed at the very start.
But means having an unsymmetrical house which is not only look bad aesthetically. But could also affect resale.

My question being, based on this, and the fact I'm no longer getting what I signed for etc etc.

Could I get out of my contract? What options do I have?

I have only placed my reserve for the house of £500. I have not paid any of the deposit as this would be paid when getting the keys.

    any help is appreciated.
