In my personal experience I cannot honestly believe the LOS is completely independent or alternatively they are out of touch, for I have had a case for them to deal with and they appear to have taken more note of what he lawyers have said yet paid little attention to the evidence I have produced. In fact on a couple of points they have even had the temerity to say that my concerns were not important, this showed no regard to the impact they had on my life and the case.
they hide behind "legal speak", trying to baffle you with long words and sentences without giving any real justification as to their decisions.
fail to respond to questions, fail to explain why they ignore evidence supporting your case.
all this in the knowledge that there is no appeal against their decision unless one goes for a judicial review that is out if the normal complainants reach.
IN MY VIEW A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME
