  • Perfect Home - Urgent Help Needed

I have a few items on HP with Perfect Homes. As I now don't have a job I have been unable to pay them for 2 weeks and they wont stop hounding me to pay them the arrears or to return the goods which I cant do neither as I don't have the money to pay them and as I need the goods.

I have spoken to them and offered a payment plan of £5 per week until I get another job but they won't accept it. I have removed my 'rights of access' so they won't visit the house but they visited anyway with a van to repossess my goods and they had a CCTV bod cam with them so I refused to discuss anything with them as I wasn't going to be on camera as I think its intrusive to film someone at their own doorstep.

Where do I stand with these sharks? Can they repossess my goods? Where do I go from here? Any advise would be gratefully received.

What are the weekly payments? is the £5 a reasonable amount?

There are plenty of companies and enforcement agents and including police who wear CCTV cameras on the body and will no doubt increase as this is for the protection of both the person and yourself and if there is a dispute in the future then the CCTV can be reverted to.

I've heard a few bad things about Perfect Homes and their aggressive ways, when you say they are hounding you can you expand? how many calls per day/week are they calling you and have you made a log of each time they have called?

Have you paid 1/3 of the price of the goods yet? If yes they cannot repossess without a court order, if not they can repossess the goods - if you refuse to hand the goods over they can obtain a court order any way and costs will go against you if it is granted.

Have they actually terminated the HP agreement in writing or have they just said you need to hand the goods over or pay arrears?
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you

Have you paid more than 1/3 of the price?? If so it is my understanding that they cannot simply take the goods (they would need to get a court order to be able to repossess). It is also better to keep all contact in writing
