The Corin Metal on Metal HIP Litigation

My mother has a claim going through the courts, please see attached, it's taken several years to get this far and we are being told that it is soon to come to an end.

Has anybody come across this type of claim, as I am told it is very common, and would anybody be able to advise if there is a probability of success?

Any comments would be welcome.
