    How stupid was I? How could I fall for this? I was tired, it was late. I just didn't expect there to be more than the one official website to renew EHIC cards for my family. I just did it without thinking. I'm usually so careful about leaving personal information on the internet, but because I felt sure that I was on the official NHS website, I ticked all the boxes without hesitating. It's terrible that I was charged £70. But even worse, I gave out all our personal information, full names, address, NHS numbers, credit card details. Of course I cannot get hold of the company now. They won't answer emails and there's no phone number. My credit card company says there's not much they can do, as I willingly put in my credit card details and ticked all the boxes. Feel like such a fool (well I am obviously!). Has anyone else made the same mistake? The company is registered to Louise Quick in Essex reg no 09623134

    Looks like a bit of a copycat website, nothing to say on there from what I can see to say they are independent and not affiliated with the NHS.

    What is it you are looking to do then, are you seeking recovery of your money or just a general post to say that you have been fooled into paying something thats free?

      @Amethyst
      I immediately emailed them through a couple of email addresses I could find and asked them to cancel my order and give me a refund. Unsurprisingly I've had no response. Yes I'd like to get hold of them, get a refund and have confirmation that my personal details won't be passed on.
      (I also ordered the cards from the official NHS website.)

        Well if you can't get hold of them now I cant imagine you getting hold of them at any point, despite their website saying contactable 24 hours per day!
        I think the only way for a refund will be to bring a claim to court.

          You are not alone there are thousands of us. They also go by the name UKEHIC.com, there are pages of complains on one site. It is a big scam.
