What type of account was it? ie Ltd company, sole trader or personal. Either way it would be very difficult I'm afraid.

It was a business account of 2 partners trading as a small garage repair business. Charges were made on loans, over drafts meetings with bank manager. Charges for returned cheques etc.

The problem is that there is a limitation to when you can bring a complaint, which in this case would be 6 years. The same applies to filing a claim. As the charges were from some 16 years ago you don't stand much of a chance to be honest.
