No Win ,No fee....now they want £3000 after loosing my case!

Hi Folks.

Has anyone ever heard of a "No win, No fee" client being asked to pay substantial cost after a case was lost? More especially when the cost are for the company that was representing them, not for the defendants costs?

Thank you Mystery One.Have also been advised to contact the legal ombudsman to lodge a complaint. Does anyone have any experience of them ?

You'd need to go through the firm's own complaints procedure before you can take it to LeO.

OK.Thank you EXC. I will do that first then. I have a large list of points that I feel they should explain to me regarding how my case was handled. Should they or would they have given me any sort of round up of what the end result was? I am at a loss as to how such a case was lost with such physical evidence being overlooked and an obviously flawed defence being allowed to go unquestioned ( 15 months for first version, totally altered version 4 months later!). Thanks for the heads up :-)
