How to obtain permission to Extend money-judgment past 6 years?

Hi,

I have been asked to assist in extending the 6 year limitation of a money-judgment, to enable this judgment to be enforced within the next 12-18 months (court delays allowing).

How might I go about obtaining permission from the court to do so? How long would the money judgment be extended for?

Have any steps been taken since the original judgment? If not then why not? If yes, then what & when?
