Hi,

I am looking for a bit of advice as to what i should do....

I received a letter from Robinsons Way regarding a Barclays Credit Card debt of 12K. They have said that they are now due to transfer the account to Howard Cohen and Co in the next 10 days, who will consider court action. I am just wondering what you recommend I do.

The account has been passed around a number of times, and it is currently with Robinson Way. I have made no contact with any of the debt collection agencies. The Credit Card was taken out before 2007, though it is not yet able to be statute barred.

Any advice on my next steps would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

Has anyone had a chance to have a look at my question, as I am worried about the 10 day warning?

    TIA

Good evening, sorry your post has been missed.!

Have you sent a request for a copy of the Barclaycard agreement (CCA Request) to RW ?

If not do so asap there is a template in the green box above,. There's a £1 statutory fee to pay use a postal order marked " For Statutory Fee Only. Not to be used as a payment to the account! Make a copy and keep for your records. RW has 12 +2 Working Days to comply. Use signed for post check delivery date and signature and print a copy for your records.

When was the last payment, is this on your credit reference files?

            Hi themanorhouse

Maybe you could start a new thread with a few details such as type of account, when opened and the rough balance

I rather imagine this one was probably dealt with by a solicitor because of the amount
