  • Marston Letter Hand Delivered

Last night whilst I was at work a guy from Marstons hand delivered a letter addressed to me to my husband, the letter is in my previous married name.

It is for outstanding water rates, it says they have received a high court writ against me for outstanding amount plus charges of £5085.43, I hold my hands up and I do owe the money.

I will be happy to setup a payment plan with them what is the best way to go about doing this.

    Any advice please, really panicking.

You need to contact them ASAP and try to set up payments over the phone if not they will return more fees can be added to debt and more grief from them unless you are willing to dispute the debt that becomes more complicared

I would like to dispute the amount of interest but obviously that's hard work I guess, and as I totally agree I owe the money I suppose I don't have a leg to stand on.
