  • Hello and Employment Law Advice Please

Hi to everyone and I would be grateful for some advice please.
I have been working for my employer for the last 20 years and for the last 10 years I have been in a particular department, which over the last year has took on other work due to an on going lull.
This work involves tasks that I was not originally employed to do and because I am part time and not as fast as the others, my manager is now looking at my 'capability'. I did tell him that I was not employed to carry out the new tasks but this has fell on deaf ears.
Does anyone know where I can go with this now?
    Thanks

Not sure if this is relevant here but s63D of the Employment Rights Act 1996 gives you a right to request training and if you submit an application, the employer has to consult with you within 28 days.

You can read for yourself here.......http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1996/18/section/63D
