  • Received judgement to my old address

Please help. Ive just checked my credit report (as I d fairly regularly) and notices that a judgement was entered against me on 1st April 2016. I checked my report within the last two weeks and there was noting on there, and now I am over the time limit to pay. Im absolutely devastated as it means my report is going to be ruined for 6 years. Is there anything at all I can do?

I think the debt related to a mobile phone contract I took out in addition to my own for an ex partner who unfortunately did not pay the bill. It was for £795 but the judgement is £1009.

If there is literally any way around having this on my file I would be so pleased. Im willing to pay it off immediately but obviously at the moment that isn't going to make any difference. I wanted to buy a house in the next few years and this has ruined my chances.
