  • Car finance

    Hello

We signed a car finance deal and paid £250 deposit and finance was agreed and we were told the finance has cleared and we now need to pay the remaining deposit and collect the car.

But due to personel difficulties we decided that on day 4 we do not want the car.

We contacted the car company and they said we will need to contact the broker and the finance company and expalin to them that we want to excersie our rights to terminate our contract.

We have done all what they asked us to do but they still have not paid back the money to the finance company.

The car company has the finance money (we did not collect the car and they have the car advertised for sale)

    Wht do we do??

    Re: Car finance

    Did you sign any agreement?
Take a screenshot or picture of the car being advertised and save it as that could be argued as their acceptance.

What did the car company say? It's it a big dealer or a small local one?
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you

      Hello ROb
      Thank you for your reply.
We did sign an agreement but only pais a small deposit and signed the agreement. The car company is a family owned with an excellent reputation.
The fianance has been paid to the company for the car and due to issues around insuring the car we decided to cancel the finance.
The company now has the finance paid to them for the car and have put the car for sale. we can see on their website the car for sale (£24.950). when we call them he keeps saying he has paid the money back to the finance but when we check it has not been paid,. what can we do!! is this fraud???
We have told the finance company but we just keep getting passed around and no one seems to know what to do. HELP!!!!

Please help in anyway you can to advise us what to do next!
