I am receiving letters and payment arrangement, reminders etc. from Lowell with regards to Barclaycard account that I had 5 years ago. However, I've checked my credit file recently and realised a default was issued by them on August 2010, and from that date till current month its showing 6 times D and rest US into my credit file.
Wondering if this default will expire after 6 years which will be August 2016 ? Also I am bit nervous about the fact that if they issue a CCJ against me at the late stage, is there anyway I can take some precaution to avoid this, i.e. asking for CCA etc. ?
