  • 2 months notice

Hi Everyone, I'm new to this forum and am looking for some advice.
We have a short hold tenancy and is up for renewal on the 20th july.
weve been given our 2 months notice as they are returning to the uk and need the house back. We've never been late on rent as we paid the first 6 months upfront and last month paid up until july. Im pregnant and due in july so obviously don't want to move then which she said is ok as they don't plan on returning until july. We have found another house and can move in the next 3/4 weeks but when i asked about the rent for june/ july which we have paid shes refusing to return because shes giving us the option to stay. With a baby on the way and having to move when we initially was told we could stay 2 years minimum feel weve been used as we only had the house 7 months. Are we entitled to the last 2 months rent back or is she within her rights to keep it? If we move within our notice surely she cant keep it.

    many thanks
