See latest post, they cannot just ignore the CCA request, the CDL's are regulated agreements.

I think It's time to sort out Barclays delusion that it does not have to supply and agreement.

Dear Mr Stanley,

I have been in contact with Barclays regarding my Career Development Loan and have corresponded with Kapal Singh a customer relations operative, enclosed herewith copies of the correspondence from
Kapal Singh On date I wrote to Barclays to request a copy of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 Regulated agreement relating to this account, however Barclays have been totally uncooperative with regard to this lawful request.

Further to a letter from Mr Jenkinson who titles himself as a " Decision Maker" it appears that Barclays believes itself to be above the law set down in the provisions of CCA 1974 and does not have to comply with my request for a signed copy of the agreement as this is " company policy" surely company policy cannot override statute law?

I am aware that if a properly signed and executed regulated agreement is unavailable a " reconstituted " agreement may be provided in response to a request, however this has not been offered.

I am enclosing herewith a Postal Order for £1.00 the required fee for a formal request made under sections 77/78 of CCA 1974 for provision within 12 + 2 Working Days from the date this letter is received a copy of the signed and executed agreement or a compliant " reconstituted " copy of the agreement.

I am preparing a report on the conduct of Barclays in this matter which with copies of all correspondence received will submitted to the FCA if this request is not complied with.

Just a quick query Nem the correspondence referred to in the letter from Kapal singh is this correspondence available to attach with my letter ? Pls ignore !! just realised my stupidity that the name on my complaint correspondence... thanks
