  • CCJ applied in maiden name to an old address

Hi, upon checking my credit file it appears I ccj has been issued against me.
I have no idea what this was for and as it was done in an address I've not lived at for 4 years I did not have the opportunity to defend this claim.

I contacted the court and they say I can pay £155 to have it looked at.

Has anyone ever done this what will I have to do?

    Thanks

You would be making an application to have the judgement set aside, court form N244 fee £155.00

      When was the judgement given?

Do you know who the claimant was?

Applications such as this are expected to be made as soon as possible after the judgement.
