Will I be in line for my late mothers cousins estate I have had a letter asking to fill in a family tree there is many first cousins alive also a huge line of second cousins who's the sons and daughters of their deceased parents, I believe the estate being dealt with is not a massive amount to share amongst every single one any information would be appreciated.

    Re: inheritance

    Hi and welcome

    Presumably the deceased died intestate.
You don't really give sufficient information about your relationship to the deceased (first or second cousin to your mother) nor of the existence of other living relatives for us to advise with any certainty.

You could work it out for yourself by reference to this site http://theprobatedepartment.co.uk/no-last-will/

Here's an easier flow chart you might find easier to negotiate!
The questions are directed to the deceased.

"my late mothers cousins estate" I believe means Sebbymasc's 2nd cousin.
