  • In court next week

    Hi,
I am in court next Monday (15th February) regarding the thread I started here :- http://legalbeagles.info/forums/show...uble-amp-a-CCJ

In essence it seems, completely unbeknownst to me, I was taken to court by the administrators of a solicitor I had an initial conversation with about a divorce. The solicitors went bust shortly afterwards, I never gave them another thought and eventually instructed another solicitor. The only reason it came to light was many months after I had been turned down for credit, I was offered a free credit report through Noddle which showed it up.

I rang the solicitor's administrators before Christmas, but they haven't got back to me - should I :-
Chase them again ahead of the court date next week,
or assume they won't turn up -
Does that help or hinder me?

Should I have submitted paperwork to the court by yesterday - if so is there any leeway on that?

I am supposed to start my new job next Monday too, so need to make my excuses around that. It never rains...

Thanks in advance for any help.

Ok I see this is all mixed in with a Sky Cabot matter.

Is this a set aside hearing?

It's does not surprise me that there has been no response, have you not followed up pn
      this at all?

What directions have you received from the court?
