  • Cabot Financial Mortimer Clarke Solicitors County Court Claim Awaiting CCA etc

Hi I have requested my CCA and also a CPR 31.14 document request has been submitted in 2 separate letters.

I have understood from other cases on here that often it can take many months for a creditor to comply with this request and in some cases years to do so properly.

So my question is as my debt is only 6 months from being past the 6 year limit before statutory barring taking affect, if they do not comply with the request in that time does the 6 years still have any bearing? Or does the fact they have completed the county court claim form already completely remove this expiration date on the enforceability on the debt?

For example if they don't get a copy for another 18 months of letter tennis refusing to supply it or extending the time limit in which I have to defend the case through the county court but then manage to locate one can they then continue pursuing the debt despite them stalling for so long?

I just want to know whether there is a real end date in sight for my case one way or another or if this could go on for years and years affecting every financial decision I make until one day finally a resolution is agreed upon or decided by the court.

thanks for your help again all.
