  • Hiya, room for a little un?

    Hiya everyone.

Found a message in my email box this morning about this place, so I thought I would come over and see what sort of trouble Fendy, Hedgey et al are causing (luv you guys really )

So here I am, gorgeous redhead, mid 30's from deepest darkest East Lancashire, (bred and brunged up in Manchester) two kids and toy boy, and a mad dog that likes to eat tissues and plastic carrier bags.

Up to my ear in debt, work for myself and don't earn much! thinking of taking Cap 1 on as they have piffed me orf. Currently taking Natwest on.

Any questions? .... form an orderly queue!

        Hi Delta ,
Glad you made it, sorry not to reply to your post on Hedgeys thread, just that things were a little tricky yesterday! Anyway sorted now and I think we all here. It's not too far to go though if we forgot any one. Enaid x

Hi there, don't worry about not getting back to me, things have been, a little shall we say, 'interesting' here the past couple of days. Won't go into it and bore you all with the details.

I may not be my usual self for a while but bear with me, I shall get back to me at some point.

          Seems very friendly over here.

Peee'd.... hes a mismatch, dad is a German Shepherd and mum is a Staffie. So he sort of looks like a GS but without the sticky up ears. Nearly 3 years old and totally ignores me. Unless the other half is here, in which case I can control him with a look! but when other half in bed (shift worker) or out then one word from me and the mutt does what he wants!

Tempty..... have been over and left my mark! don't take me long to find the alcofrol, even if I am not drinking it!

                        Hiya Delta

                        Welcome to Beagles.

I hope you enjoy yourself here. Make yourself at home and feel free to bring the mad dog. Water bowls are provided in each forum, but you have to provide your own poop bags!

"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

Thank you, but I am not letting him out to play today, he's grounded! As I have said, he's not nasty, he just sounds it. He is very friendly and excitable. And this morning I was trying to pin him down to give the postie chance to get up the drive, having our usual comeone is coming to the door tussle, and I now have a puncture mark in my finger! It's strange in that there is no blood, but it is weeping a water like substance (actually I am surprised that it is not neat coffee at the moment!). I must stress that this was not a deliberate bite, he doesn't do that.

He has had his nose smacked, and I am on the ignore level at the moment, keeps coming to me, but until he says sorry (which he does do actually) I will continue to ignore.

                          Next time.....I bite him back!

It's like my staffie she was 2 and a halif when we got her, she didn't know how to play, Took me about 6 months to teach her to fetch the ball back and not just chew it up
She taught me the art of precision timing though, when she fetches the ball back, if you get your timing wrong you are in danger of losing treat, ball and at least 2 fingers Still love her to bits though
