Hi. Im hoping someone can advise me on the right steps to take & help with a template letter on how to get a default removed from my credit file.. the Default is for £30 & has been paid.. thanks :-)

You should start your own thread for this as each case is different and depends on the particular issues.

If you've dafaulted and you paid the balance it will be marked as satisfied and not removed from your credit report, only if is 6 years old they will remove it. This is how it is on Equidax, not sure if you're using them or other credit company to see your report.

Default removal;
This is fully explained on debt camel site. User on there has had 5 or 6 defaults removed from CRA reports, it does take a while, and will require writing many letters.
