I had called the RBS yesterday as I have been dealing with them about my PPI which I have been successful and just waiting on the cheque coming woohoo !!- the nice lad on the phone had mentioned that I had a Royalties Gold Acc which I totally forgot about he even gave me the phone number and as it was 1998 my acc number and sort code. So I called and got through to a guy who asked me some security questions and he said that he would call me back with the outcome today - well he had called me back just 15 mins ago and he is sending a cheque to my nearest branch for £251.17 - he is sending me a letter as I am not at the address that the bank have anymore just take the letter with me and pick up my cheque. I only had this account for 14 months its not a huge sum but its still a nice win...
