Hi, I recently had a pip assessment. the report was full of lies and misunderstandings. I told the pip people and they just said their people are professional. she made mistakes about so many aspects and blatantly lied! What can I do to report her? I don't want her to be able to lie about other people , does she have to lie to keep down claims? I feel cheated and abused by the whole system. If I told the lies she did I would get in trouble, so how can they get away with it?
my pip assesor lied in her report, what can I do?

Re: my pip assesor lied in her report, what can I do?
Hi and welcome.
The DWP always claim their assessors are professional, but never professional what, (but probably liars!)
Your experience is not unusual.
Have you received a decision yet from DWP about your PiP?
If your unhappy with their decision you must first formally request a mandatory reconsideration.
If you remain dissatisfied your next course of action is a formal appeal.
There are time limits for these actions.
Regarding the assessment did you take a witness with you, or request recording facilities?
You can complain about the way the assessment was carried out and the subsequent report to the firm contracted by DWP.
This will be Capita, (altho' for a time civil servants were used to clear a backlog of cases)
I don't think any other firms are involved, and I doubt it will have any effect.
