Hello,
I would like to share my problem.
Last year I sold a joblot of items that are from a business that I had.
I had multiple items listed on eBay and this buyer requested a price
for the whole lot.
To be safe I made a new listing for it and he bought it.
But even it was buy it now and I requested direct payment through eBay
he decided only to pay after I opened an unpaid item case.
He also requested my supplier details, which I don't need anymore and are free to look up on the internet.
So I agreed, but did tell him that I just give it after receiving honest feedback.
I received even positive feedback, I also waited of my return period.
So I thought I was safe.
I have proof of delivery from the items itself and also from the supplier info.
Happy me and after the vacation I mentioned the return request he opened.
There we go.............he told me he did not receive the supplier details.
I showed him the proof he did. (No answer since then)
But then I decided to look closer into his feedback, which was 100% positive.
But at the positive feedback left by previous sellers it was a lot of warnings that he is a scammer. (total 24)
But as a seller you cannot leave negative feedback.
I made contact with eBay who told me that I cannot contact the team that makes the decisions about a claim.
I made contact with previous sellers to him and was told they did report this buyer.
But he still goes on, (last week already 6 people left a scammer warning on his (positive) feedback list.
So in 2 ways i think eBay is to blame for this.
-they failed to suspend this buyer even though he was reported multiple times.
-They failed to warn me by refusing previous victims to leave negative feedback.
I do know that I don't stand a chance against eBay, so I lost my money.
But how can I make them aware of this stupid system that scammers can use freely.
So to all of you who are trading on eBay...........check the positive feedback also.
