  • Mistreated by HSBC !!!

I have been with HSBC for 47 yrs now and given them thousands in interest.
I have been mistreated by them over my online banking where I made a genuine error in logging in.
They stopped my login and since I could not login they also never got my monthly payments.
They promised to sort this out with me being old and not used to computers.
They made promises of this for four months and failed to sort it out as they did not have a person who could.
They promised it would be done and there would be no harm to me, they failed again and then they promised me £180 in compensation.
Then out of the blue another department stepped in and said they needed five months instant payment from me to catch up, I could not pay this to them.
They then took me to court over 200 miles from where I live and gave me one day notice of the hearing.
I could not make this and told them and they said it was too late and it went ahead.
This court found in their favour and then the judgement was sent to my local court to collect from me.
I never received the £180 they promised me and I wrote to the local court who said it was too late and now the HSBC has made a charge against my home of 9 grand !!! well thousands more than was on the card originally !

I tried the ombudsman who said they did make mistakes as written here but I did owe the money as I never went to court to defend !!

I cannot move home because of this unless they get this money which I do not agree they should get.
Will getting this into a newspaper help ?

    Thanks beagles.

Why did you only get one days notice of the Court case no CCJ claim form and a chance to defend?
