  • Just Saying Hello....

Just wanted to say Hello to all. I was advised about this site from a very similar one, although I must say this one does seem a little less congested and a lot easier to find my way round.

I'm hoping to begin the process of reclaiming charges and from my bank and a couple of credit cards. I'm not really sure where to start but after seeing such a lot of media coverage about it of late thought I may as well give it a go.

Will have a thorough look through the site and hope to get some advice from you guys when I'm ready to start.

    Thanks

Hi BigFish, welcome to the site, it's good to have you here.

The best place for you to start would be to read the FAQ's and the Step by step guide, for which links can be found in my signature at the bottom.

Please do not hesitate to ask any questions, it's better to ask than make a mistake, we're all here for the same reason! When you're ready, post a thread in the appropriate forum for your bank, preferably entitled BigFish Vs. (name of bank).

      Good Luck!

      Matt

"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )
