  • Tomlin order breaches Article 10 HRA 1998

    Hi Everyone,
I am subject to a Tomlin Order (2005) - see P & Others v Mark Quigley [2008] EWHC 1051 (QB). The order makes it a criminal offence for me to disparage any sponsers of R - a government sponsered institute. It therefore follows that I cannot disparage the present government for to do so would be to disparage a sponser of R. If I wish to join The Labour Party I can do so but if I then disparage the Tories or encourage others to do so I will have breached the Tomlin order and face imprisionment! The order cannot be changed due to recent changes in the law as respects Tomlin orders. Clearly the Judge Eady J and the Claimants solicitors are in breach of my Article 10 rights HRA 1998. What would be a reasonable course of action in this circumstance?
