    Hello does anyone know who I can turn too for sound pension advice regarding been medically retired from the Halifax

    Sory youpost is not clear .
    DoI have this Correct ?
    1) you have been retired on medical grounds
    2) you have a pension with Halifax/ BAnkof scotland

    First of all it will depend on your age I dont think you can draw a pension down at all until you are 50. Then atere are all charges and annuity stuff . Cant give you any further advice except that if the sum in your pot is large it might be worth talking to a fee based independant financial advisor . Anyone who who rings you up offering insvestment advice for your pension is a scammer and you will in all likelyhood never see your money again . Remeber there limits to taxfree draw down amounts and you can lose all the extra drawdon amounts in tax liability .
