Hi everyone I am new here and have used the site in the past for help and advice. I have unfortunately had debt problems and comming close to the end of my IVA. Sadly though I fell foul of the payday sharks ending up with a number of loans and robbing Paul to pay Peter. I hold my hand up and should never have got involved with these but at the same time these lenders should never lend to people in my circumstances ie in a IVA. I am now challenging these debts and getting them written off for misselling. Has anyone else had their loans besides Wonga written off? I think that in time these loans could backfire on the lenders just like PPI caught up with banks etc.

Re: Payday lenders past their sell by date!
I have heard stories of some and I have certainly had a few back off. I have not tried the misselling approach as I don't want to poke companies who haven't contacted me for 2 years or more.
You are right, they should never have lent to you, BUT did you declare that you weren't in an IVA? I only ask because some lenders will get stroppy with you saying you misrepresented the position

Re: Payday lenders past their sell by date!
Yes I do have rather a lot of creditors in all guises, loans ,credit cards , payday loans, some unenforceable because the agreements are flawed, some unenforceable because they can not find an agreement and some where I would have to argue my case in court
