Hi all, I'm new to this.

Please can you advise.
I recently checked my credit file to find a company called Kapama saying I owe £886! from 13/02/2014, but has only appeared on here now.

Ive done some digging and was trading under mini credit of who i did have a small loan with in 2013. They have since stopped trading because the FDA proved they was unfair trading.

Where does this leave my debt? I thought it should of been written off, i've not had any letters, calls anything from them.

Please help.

The debt book was acquired by Kapama (sister company of Opos) a debt purchaser I believe so not written off.

The debt exists and remains payable.

Not much you can do really until you are chased for payment.
As far as I know there were few if any " write offs"

Just wondered If you have any luck on this? I have just found one on my credit file for a very similar amount after taking out a loan with mini credit for £100. Surely they cannot expect close to £900 to pay for this.
Is there anything we can do under their 'unfair trading' to dispute this. I am more than happy to settle my debt, but even the settlement sum is £650?
