Average speed camera

I was caught doing 59 in a 50 twice in two days going over the dartford bridge, I'm looking at £200 & 6 points. Both times were after 10 at night and it is actually a four lane motor way so seems very harsh to me. Is there any way I can take this to court & convince them to reduce the penalty somehow??

No. You should get a speed awareness course for one of them though.

Kent is £87 for the course and no points.

I did a speed awareness course last year so can't do another one, someone had just told me that because I've been caught again the points not put on because of the doing the curse will now be issued as well, is that true?

Were you caught speeding in the same county as the previous speeding offence? I recently attended one and was told that in different counties they do not share the speed awareness course information so you may get offered another course by another county if the offence is committed in separate counties...

Wherther there is any truth to that I do not know unfortunately.

Think im correct the police forces share the info so 2 fines maybe and points sorry to say

That's over the 25mph threshold so will result in a court summons I believe, a large fine and/or possibility of 6 points per offence may be possible.
