  • legal help needed

    Good afternoon everyone,
I have posted previously trouble I am having with anglian water filing a default with CRAs

Basically I was late paying a bill .

I had moved house and my direct debit had been canceled.

I had a bill in December for £115.

I forgot about it ,then in march I got another new bill with the previous amount added on, it was just an ordinary blue bill.

I paid it all in full at the beginning of may.

In August I applied for a mortgage and was turned down. The reason was anglian water had filed a default on my credit file.

I have had extensive correspondence including with the CEO but they refuse to remove it.

As there has been no credit agreement, I dispute the action of filing a default on my credit file.

Experian clearly outline a default as someone who has broken a written credit agreement, this is something I have never done.

My credit history is impeccable, but with a default it is trashed.

My business is buying and renovating cheap property, now I can't get a mortgage, so effectively at a standstill.

I have asked anglian water to change the entry to paste payment, but they won't.

I have explained the circumstances , and also the unbelievable stress etc, but still its no!

Can anyone suggest a solicitor that can take this matter further?

Or can anyone suggest a way forward?

    Thanks
