          Others here will have more knowledge than I, but i believe the agreement you have with Brighthouse is Hire purchase.
          This means that if you have paid more than 30% they can't just turn up and remove the goods.
          If you have paid more than half the amount you can terminate the agreement and not pay any more on returning the goods
          Selling goods on HP is a criminal offence, but IMO it is unlikely that Brighthouse will report it to the police as they are more interested in getting your money.
          If it was to get to court chances of you having to serve a prison term are very small, so don't worry about that.
          It might be worthwhile considering a "time order" to reschedule the repayments and to vary the interest rate charged.
          Does anyone have other ideas
